Description

MySystemSpy is a program I created in VB.NET that allows you to pull all sorts of detailed hardware and operating system properties and settings using WMI (Windows Management Instrumentation). Its small and easy to use! Simply click a setting in the list that you wish to view, and the information is conveniently displayed for you, with an option to save the displayed information.

Installing the Program

To install the program, simply double click the “MySystemSpySetup.msi” file and run the installation. The only requirement to run the program is that the windows machine needs to have the .NET Framework installed, as well as the Windows WMI service running. MySystemSpy will check the status if the WMI service, and if not running, it will ask you if you want it to start the service for you. If you get errors when trying to open the program, you most likely need the .NET Framework. You can get the Framework here.
