Description
HTML2Text is a program created in VB.NET that allows you to convert HTML files to simple text files, with all the HTML tags and formatting removed.
Installing the Program
To install the program, simply extract the html2text.zip file to any directory you choose. The only requirement to run the program is that the windows machine needs to have the .NET Framework installed. Try running the program, if you get errors when you click it, you most likely need the files. You can get the Framework here.
Using the Program
In order to utilize HTML2Text, you must first open the file you wish to convert in Internet Explorer. Once that is done, simply press the convert button, and choose where to save the file. That’s it! You’re done!
