Description
EZThumbnail is a program created in VB.NET that allows you to quickly create thumbnails or resize any of the supported image types. Supported image types are JPG, BMP, GIF, PNG, TIFF, WMF, EMF, and ICO formats. Simply choose the directory that contains your images, choose the output path, and you’re done! Extra options for thumbnail size as well as JPG conversion quality are included!
Changes in Version 1.1 - Improved quality for thumbnails, image counts for the chosen directory.
Installing the Program
To install the program, simply download and run the EZThumbNailSetup.msi file. The only requirement to run the program is that the windows machine needs to have the .NET Framework installed. Try running the program, if you get errors when you click it, you most likely need the files. You can get the Framework here.
Options
| Directory | Click to choose the directory that contains the images you wish to create Thumbnails for. |
| OutPut Path | Click to choose the directory to save your generated images to. |
Image Types
| ALL | This will convert all supported image types that are in the image directory. |
| JPG | Converts only “”JPG”", “”jpg”", “”JPEG”", and “”jpeg”" image extensions. |
| GIF | Converts only “”GIF”" and “”gif”" image extensions. |
| BMP | Converts only “”BMP”" and “”bmp”" image extensions. |
| PNG | Converts only “”PNG”" and “”png”" image extensions. |
| WMF | Converts only “”WMF”" and “”wmf”" image extensions. |
| EMF | Converts only “”EMF”" and “”emf”" image extensions. |
| TIFF | Converts only “”TIFF”", “”tiff”", “”TIF”", and “”tif”" image extensions. |
| ICO | Converts only “”ICO”" and “”ico”" image extensions. |
ThumbNail Size
| Height | Size in pixels for Height of thumbnails. Width will be same proportion as original image. |
| Width | Size in pixels for Width of new thumbnails. Height will be same proportion as original image |
| Custom | Custom Height and Width values in pixels. This will “”stretch”" or “”squash”" the image to the desired output size. |
OutPut Options
| File Prefix | This prefix will be added onto the original name of the image, and will be saved as part of the new thumbnail file name. This cannot be empty (nothing). |
| JPG Quality | Quality of JPG Compression. 100 is “”unchanged”", “”1″” is the lowest value. The lower the number, the less the quality, but smaller the file size.> |
Open Output Folder After Generate - If this is checked, the output folder will be opened after thumbnail generation.
