Another program soon to be listed free on this site is EZScreenCap. It is yet another program that deals with capturing still images, except this time it is used to gather screenshots of regions of your desktop. I have the basic functionality working, using a transparent panel on a form that captures the desktop image that is located inside of the transparent panel. Plan on having another option to capture the same region at timed intervals, as well as saving the image under various formats.

After this program, I hope to create one main capture program that includes all the functionality of the other programs, all tied together, for creating screen captures, video still images, and retrieving images from digicams, etc…
