Seems to be a problem with several of the initial XBox 360 consoles. After playing for 10 or 15 minutes, the screen goes blank, and shows an error message. After this, three red lights appear on the box. Haven’t poked around enough, but it seems like if this is an issue, Microsoft is being very quiet about it, and I can see why. Could also explain the shortages and why no one has received any new shipments at all. One a messageboard I read on X-Box Scene, said that Microsoft knows of this problem, and that it is widespread. Now I’m getting a little hesitant on purchasing a new one until I can confirm that Microsoft has made a comment on the issue, whether it is false or whether they are working on fixing this rumored issue… although by the number of posts about it, this doesn’t seem like a rumored issue…

**EDIT - Microsoft seems to have confirmed problems, but they say they are a very small fraction of consoles… I wonder what their definition of “small fraction” is.. Read the CNET Article here.
